We booked Calma for one night of luxury while backpacking Costa Rica and it didn't disappoint. The owners, Andrea and Txema, were absolutely lovely and welcoming. The apartments were clean, well-equipped, and faced a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The beach was just across the road, with stunning rock pools and breathtaking surf spots in both directions. We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you for this memorable experience!

I appreciated to be there, spent 2 quiet days overall. Such touches as iron/ironing board, coffee/tea making machines and a work desk where useful. The pool looked lovely. Everything was perfect for me, would recommend.

Amazing apartment with great attention to detail. Loved the little touches like hangers, shelves, and a cup for my toothbrush. The pool was also really nice and the outdoor area was cute. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. I also appreciated the helpfulness of the owner in providing public transport schedules and instructions on finding the place without a car.
The wifi could have been better, as it would drop out from time to time. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a table or an extra chair indoors for eating or working at the small desk.

Everything is excellent, the apartment is new. The host, Mateo, makes you feel at home. The place has a private safe, a refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities etc. It opens out onto garden.

The value for money at Calma Apartments was excellent, with a beautifully furnished and well-equipped apartment that felt like home. The location was perfect, close to the beach and town center, yet still peaceful enough to enjoy the tropical sounds. The hosts treated us like family, providing delicious Italian baked goods and ensuring our every need was met.
Hotel breakfast could benefit from more variety or options.
